Holiday Inn Express & Suites Selma by IHG

Great place. Pillows are extremely soft so not good on my neck, but kids loved them. Pool was clean and not always crowded. Loved that they had shampoos and conditioner, body soap, hand soap, and hand lotion installed to use. Breakfast not so great. The packaged foods are fine but stay away from pancakes they stay watery. Didn't retry after first time.

First things first Brandon (I believe that was his name) was amazing! We were greeted by his charming smile upon entry into the hotel. He immediately put us at ease after having some trouble finding the entrance at night due to road construction nearby. He was very professional, kind and courteous. He gave us everything we needed to have a successful check-in. Costumer service at its finest! The room had a sofa bed and 2 ACTUAL queen-sized beds! Other hotels we have stated queen bed and put us on a double bed, extremely irritating. We were happy with the accommodations! Minor things in the room needed tweaking, but nothing a trip to the front desk couldn't solve. Ultimately, this trip has redeemed Selma from our last seasonal Ctoss Country meet. Thank you for a great stay and a secure place to stay when in the area!

Super friendly staff. Clean room. Typical HIE breakfast. This is why I prefer HIE. Was a little difficult to get to due to current road construction (2/26) Oh.... and the coyotes howling.... made me feel like I was at home

Just amazing!! I travel for work and when i say this was one of my favorite hotels!! The welcome was very welcoming!! The lobby was clean and smelled amazing!! My room i just loved and the fact they had real soap made me fall in love even more!! So yes i highly recommend everyone to stay here!!

The rooms were good. The breakfast options at this location were lower than others. I also found a weird red stain on one of my pillows, so that was weird, but the front desk gave me a new pillow case. The staff was nice overall.

We have never seen such a cohesive ensemble of caring, genuinely kind people. The staff here treat us like family. Everyone is literally so kind. From the cleaning staff to the front desk staff, every single person deserves a raise for excellence and going the extra mile. Our room was amazing, the view was lovely, the blinds were fantastic and truly BLACKOUT, the air conditioner was ice cold, and there’s even a fridge! Most hotels don’t even have those. The glow up vanity mirror was a gorgeous addition to the spacious bathroom upgrade and the room is huge. Plenty of space and storage for long term stays. The best part of all, though, were the beds. They ARE SO SOFT. Plenty of real pillows — none of the cheap, thin kind. The pool was a great escape from the oppressive Texas heat, too. Plus there were PLENTY of fantastic places to eat around and nearby. Heather, Brandon, Layla, Aubrey, and Noah are the backbones of this well-oiled machine, making sure every guest feels welcome, appreciated, and cared for. Thank you for an excellent stay. This is our forever hotel-home away from home.

Hello I wanna take this moment to recognize Brandon's excellence. Most of the time when I go to a Holiday Inn, I go and check in and leave it at that. Somehow Brandon manage to change that, he gave me and my girlfriend a wonderful experience. He had such a radiant energy and he was so easy to have a conversation with. Now as for our experience in our room it was amazing ! Now we started coming to San Antonio once a month and I think this might be our hotel of choice from now. Especially when we checked out Serenity was patient enough to answer my questions as well. This Hotel has the best staff ever, especially the cleaning staff were great to talk to ! I highly suggest this location for any stay.

I can't say enough for the service...so friendly and helpful. Brandon at the front desk was great and his recommendations on where to go and eat were amazing. Room was clean and breakfasts were good. Like most of San Antonio, though, construction makes it a little cumbersome to navigate to the location, but definitely not a huge deal. We also saw numerous deer in the rear of the building almost every morning. Only thing I'd really change is the shower curtain didn't stay closed and we had to use multiple towels to keep the bathroom floors dry.
